Age is wall time since the seat took the channel; clock is the player’s media time. The gap between them is time spent loading, in ads or stalled. Latency is seconds behind the broadcaster; above 10 s or more than 10% dropped frames means playback is starved. A paused seat at clock 0 is a rendition that never started; the watchdog fails it after 60 s, and a channel that keeps failing waits twice as long each time.

How a reading becomes a standing
- Read one cached preview, or a pair of live screenshots four seconds apart.
- Find candidate player frames across the image, then read their level badge and name.
- Learn a recurring name over two separate visits.
- Show a new character provisionally; confirm after a fresh repeat. Mark held results stale when a clip is suspected or a reading is unclear.
Attribution is inferred. A replay of the same character can still look like current gameplay. Equal levels share a rank; XP and the time of arrival do not break ties.
